What Makes A Good TWA Ally?
We are always on the lookout for talented, generous, well-connected, open-minded women whom you can VOUCH FOR. We look for leaders and visionaries who transcend categories, shift mindsets, transform or help other women, as well as add to and benefit from the discourse and collaboration inside The What Alliance.

At this time, we’re prioritizing other leadership backgrounds and are not accepting executive coaches into our community.

Questions we ask ourselves to determine whether candidate is a fit:

1. How many ways is this candidate diverse (racial, religious, geographic, professional)
2. Are they someone you trust?
3. Is their current work or mission tied to a larger purpose to benefit the greater good?
4. Do they embody our values of generosity, respect, kindness, integrity, and openness?
5. Are they considered an expert in their field or have they trailblazed a new category?
6. Could they lead a Spark Session that will teach something to our group?
7. Can their connections and expertise contribute to our collective engine of change?
8. Do they lead with contribution and not “Asks”—refraining from self-promotion or trying to "mine" contacts.
9. Are they an icon or future icon?
10. Are they someone you enjoy hanging out with?
