The What Alliance is a private ecosystem of progressive leaders who accelerate impact by forging deep connections.

Join our dynamic group of C-levels execs, founders, funders, scientists, journalists, authors, activists, filmmakers, and non-profit leaders who learn from each other. (At this time we are prioritizing other leadership backgrounds and are not accepting executive coaches into The What Alliance.)

IMAGINE if you had expert curators screen every contact before they became part of your inner circle?

Meet Gina Pell + Amy Parker, Founders of THE WHAT ALLIANCE and dot com pioneers with over 20 years of experience in building influential women’s communities.

Our history is one of partnership—showing up for each other, empowering aligned leaders, and dreaming up new realities. We personally make over 2000 strategic introductions between our members every year—a force multiplier for opportunity.

HOW TWA WORKS?

A NETWORK OF YOUR OWN - Our members connect on a private platform where ‘What happens in TWA, stays in TWA.’

LIVE VIRTUAL PAIRINGS - Every month you can connect with TWA Allies without leaving your space. These virtual meetups are an intimate way to find serendipity within our community.

SOUNDBOARDING SESSIONS - Every week, we host private, member-led Spark Sessions to share wisdom on every topic from finance to women’s health, professional pivots, and WHAT matters.

STRATEGIC INTRODUCTIONS - We make strategic introductions between our Allies every quarter based on their current goals.

VETTED RESOURCE LIST - The TWA Gold List is an exclusive perk of your annual membership. Find trusted experts and vetted resources.

REAL WORLD GATHERINGS - We also curate experiences that matter—intimate dinners, thought-provoking salons, and unforgettable moments that deepen our bonds.

And when the world comes together, so do we. You’ll find us at global events like Cannes Lions, Davos, TED, Milken, and SXSW, championing the voices of other TWA Allies who are staying ahead of the issues that shape our future.

ABOUT US.

We formed The What Alliance to create a launchpad and recharging station for ourselves and our Allies. Since 1999, we have been cultivating and nurturing trusted relationships with extraordinary women who are happy to share wisdom, resources, and connections to help each other reach new heights, both personally and professionally.

Our secret sauce is in the diversity we bring across all categories—age, stage, race, industry, geography, expertise, personality, and background. We also have plenty of introverts to balance the extroverts.

Allow us to nurture you in a culture of hospitality and realness where it's okay to be yourself. We come from a place of warmth, friendship, and zero judgment. When you succeed. We all succeed.

OUR NON-NEGOTIABLES

Our non-negotiables include respect for each individual’s dignity, exceptional competence and drive, and good allyship—defined as a willingness to connect with others, contribute to our collective wisdom, respect personal and professional boundaries (never pitching or mining contacts), conduct oneself with decorum, and remain mindful that while we all share some common ground, our backgrounds may differ (geographically, economically, racially, culturally, and psychologically).
