Our non-negotiables include respect for each individual’s dignity, exceptional competence and drive, and good allyship—defined as a responsiveness when other Allies reach out, contribution to our collective wisdom, respect for personal and professional boundaries (never pitching or mining contacts), conducting oneself with warmth and decorum, and remaining mindful that while we all share some common ground, our backgrounds may differ (geographically, economically, racially, culturally, and psychologically).
